Small roof repairs, caught early

Cracked vent boots, missing ridge caps and lifted shingles cause many small roof leaks. We spot them during every cleaning and fix them for a set price.

What we check on every roof

Every gutter cleaning puts us on your roof, so every cleaning includes an inspection. Problems that are invisible from the driveway are easy to see up close.

  • Shingles. Wear, cracks, lifted tabs and missing pieces.
  • Vent boots. The rubber collars around plumbing vents crack in the Georgia sun and are a top cause of small leaks.
  • Ridge caps. Loose or missing caps along the peak.
  • Chimneys. Signs of wear where the chimney meets the roof.
  • Critter damage. Chewed edges and entry points from squirrels and rodents.
  • Overhanging trees. Limbs that scrape shingles or are ready to fall.

We fix the small causes behind many leaks: cracked vent boots, missing ridge caps, damaged shingles and gutters backing water under the roof edge. Tell us where you see water and we'll inspect the likely spots.

Do you wash roofs?

No. For roof washing, we recommend A Man Under Pressure at (770) 238-6161.

How often should my roof be inspected?

At least every two years, and after any major storm. Every Gutter Goat cleaning includes a roof inspection, so customers on a regular cleaning schedule are covered.
